What does this mean for me?
You will still be able to book your rides, at flat prices without surge! However, all payment must be made with CASH ONLY, and no GrabReward points will be awarded for trips taken during this period.
Why are the addresses not auto-populating when I search?
This Lite version of the app, though does not have full functionalities, you can still book a ride. Please key in the pick-up/drop-off locations in full for the driver to locate you easily.
How do I select my vehicle type?
Unfortunately, this option is not available currently. A nearest car or taxi will be assigned to you when you make a booking.
Where is my GrabPay Credits / GrabRewards points?
GrabPay and GrabRewards are currently unavailable. Do not worry, your added cards, GrabPay Credits balance, and GrabRewards points will be back when the main app is up and running in a while.
Can I enter a promo code?
Unfortunately, no. Sorry. 🙏🏻
Will I earn GrabRewards point?
No, trip taken during this period will not earn GrabRewards point.
Is the fare subjected to surge pricing?
No, all fares are fixed at RM10.
Can I still contact my driver?
Yes. However, number masking will not be available. As a reminder, please do not contact the driver after the trip has ended.
