If you're unable to book or choose your Grab service, you may be having GPS issues.
- Enter flight mode for 5 minutes
Open your device's Settings app. Under Wireless & Networks, tap more. Tap Airplane mode to turn on or off.
Swipe up from the bottom of your Home screen to open Control Center, then tap on the airplane logo so it turns orange.
If your app won't open, respond, unexpectedly quits, or shows an error, you can take the following steps.
- Check connectivity
Launch your internet browser, type www.google.com and tap Go. If the page fails to load, you may have internet connectivity issues. Check your device manual or internet service provider to restore your connectivity before trying Grab again.
- Check for Updates
Open Settings, look for Software Updates and tap Manually Update. This will search for available updates, and update your Android OS as required. Open Google Play and tap My apps & games. If a Grab update is available, tap Update.
Open Settings, look for General and tap Software Update. Update your iOS as required. Open the App Store and tap Updates. If a Grab update is available, tap Update.
- Restart App
Hit the Recent apps button, find Grab and swipe it to the side to close the app. Re-launch Grab.
Double-press the Home button and find Grab then swipe the app up to close the app. Re-launch Grab.
- Restart Phone
Press and hold the power button to turn off your phone. Press the power button after a minute to turn on your phone and launch Grab.
- Reinstall app
Open Google Play, search for Grab and tap on the app. Tap on Uninstall and wait for it to complete. Once it is done, tap on Install and tap open once it is done installing.
Press and hold the Grab icon until an X appears on the top left corner of the icon. Delete the app before going to the App store, search for Grab and installing it. Tap open once installation completes.
